Each shawl pin is full of lively assorted shades of green, brown, cream and pale blue scattered like confetti across the surface - a nod to the exuberance and positivity that comes with starting anew.
Every pin is crafted using the same meticulous process, yet each pattern is completely unique, making each one, one of a kind. My polymer clay pins are ideal for fastening a woolly wrap, securing a waterfall cardigan, pinning a knitted scarf in place or embellishing a beanie. Suitable for any garment with a loose knit or weave, they can also be worn as a piece of contemporary jewellery. Even a silk scarf can be pushed through the disc and the pin passed behind it. Due to the diameter of the bamboo, I don’t advise using them with a fine machine knit or woven fabric.
Dimensions: Large disc: 57 mm diameter (2 & 1/4 inches) and 4 mm (1/8 inch) thick.
Small double sided disc at top of pin: 22 mm (7/8 inch) diameter and 4 mm (3/16 inch) thick.
Bamboo pin (excluding decorative disc): 70 mm long ( 2 & ¾ inch) and 2.75 mm (1/10 inch) wide.
